Acting is my profession, working at the bar is my job, and my family is my life source. I have my steady job, I wake up and fall asleep to my family each night; however, that damn acting profession is kicking my ass right now. In the last two months I have been put on AVAIL (that means they are considering me amongst a few others for a role) and then released from that role SIX TIMES. That is rough. That’s the first audition, the callback audition, the scrambling for someone to pick up my daughter from school, and all the other minutia that goes along with this process… times six. But do you give up? Nope. Does it get to you? You bet. Do you get back up and keep going? You bet your sweet ass you do.

Don’t give up. Keep at it. Don’t ever look back and wonder where you’d be if you had only tried a little harder. Now is the time to try harder. Yep. I will quit my bitching and get ready for my audition tomorrow. And that’s how you move forward.

Kill your debt. Spend less. Earn more. Save more. Stay active. Make goals and work towards them. Invest in vehicles that are appropriate for your age, ability, and goals. Do it. Do it again. And do it again.
